Liverpool stands alongside the eastern bank of the famous River Mersey and is known for its waterfront attractions, many of which are clustered around Liverpool's historic Albert Dock. Here you will find an array of wine bars, shops, museums, galleries and cafés offers outdoor tables.

Standing to the east of the city's Albert Dock is Mathew street, where you will find the world-famous Cavern Club, which is visited each year by many thousands of Beatles fans. Located to the north of this area are the Pier Head and also the Royal Liver building, a particularly prominent landmark in Liverpool.
